1200mm 18W T8 LED Tube with One Side Power (120lm/W)

Description

This 1200mm 18W T8 LED Tube with One Side Power is perfect for replacing common fluorescent tubes, like for example, in kitchens.

Its Epistar-SMD2835 light source and provide us with a total brightness of 1,800 lumens, which are more than enough to replace fluorescent tubes of up to 40W, acheiving energy savings of over 50%. The beam angle of the light is 180º, which is perfect for general lighting. It also features a frosted diffuser and a rotary head.

The connection of this 1200mm (4ft) 18W T8 LED Tube with One Side Power is done to one side (the end that says 'input'). It works at 220-240V AC, so we can eliminate the ballast and starter, optimizing consumption.

Get this 1200mm 18W T8 LED Tube with One Side Power and enjoy instant lighting and annoying light flickering.

Part 2
Remove the ballast and starter.

LED Tube Installation - Part 2

Part 3
Connect the PHASE (brown, black or grey wire) to a pin (1 of the 2 metal studs) at one end of the lamp holder and the NEUTRAL (blue wire) to the other pin at the same end of the lamp holder. Insert the LED tube with the end indicated by a label into the wired lamp holder. Turn on and check that your new LED tube lights up.

How to connect LED tubes one-side with LED starter Ferromagnetic/Electronic ballasts

Ferromagnetic fluorescent tube systems have the starter positioned outside the ballast. Alternatively, it is possible to install the LED tubes using the LED starter (included in the product). The connection of these lamps are simple, you only need to change the starter for a LED starter, the fluorescent tube for the LED tube, modify a connection and remove the capacitor* (if available, part1.b).

Part 1
Turn off the power, checking that no electrical current is flowing.

How to connect LED tube with two-sided connection eliminating Ferromagnetic/Electronic ballast

Connecting these lamps requires the re-wiring of fluorescent lamp as follows: Remove the ballast, and the starter, and connect the two power cables directly to one of the two sockets at each end of the tube.

Part 1
Turn off the power, checking that no electrical current is flowing.

Part 2
Remove the fluorescent tube, join the two wires that feed into the ballast in the same contact and remove the starter (by cutting one of the starter wires, the starter is completely annulled).

Congratulations, you are using half as much electricity as 5 minutes ago!
